Constancia
This interactive thing is based on a vignette by 72Kilos.
Made in a couple of days by Ludipe.
It's endless and there's no goal.
Once dialogues start repeating you've seen it all.

oof i repeated the coversation like 4 times before i realized what was happening XD
i just noticed the description I repeated the same conversations 7 times ;-;
good game tho :)
Interesting concept!
wow this made me uncomfortable. thanks I enjoyed it !
I'm feeling physical pain playing this game, I perservered and not my whole body hates me ;)
good job it really feelt like trying to advance and live "a normal life" while at the brink of total burnout
Your game is in this list. You can find my review down in the description.
Good Job! Keep Up The Good Work!
Does this game ever end?
I've been typing for like thirty minutes
Sorry about that! It's explained in the description:
"It's endless and there's no goal.
Once dialogues start repeating you've seen it all."
Simple but powerfull :D
i love this game its very calming, ill come back when if i feel anxious :)
im a pro at spelling perseverance now
I just realized even though I knew perfectly well how to spell perseverance, I've somehow started typing "per" "ser" "ver" "ance" now...
i wanna play this so bad but I don't have webgl :')
Hi there! I'm sorry to hear this. I'm not sure if I can do anything to fix it. I wasn't sure if you also needed WebGL to run the desktop version.
awww ill try and fix this ur game looks rly fun >:(
WHOA IT WORKS WOO idk wut changed :0??
Hi there! I didn't change anything haha. Must have been something in your browser.
Really nice concept and very neatly done - like someone else it's not the smoothest word to type, which does.. something to the effect! thanks for the thought-provoking interactive thing :)
este juego me hizo darme cuenta que no podía escribir de manera constante constancia
I love the concept ! The graphics are beautiful and simple, and even though the game play is very simple too, it really adds to the idea of the game ! And I love games that make me think uwu It really helps IRL too !
I LOVE 72 kilos!!!
I liked it! edit: someone, anyone, please, remind me to play this everyday. just leave a reply <3 thank you so much!
Hey ! Just to say you may want to play this game again ! :) (if not just ignore me ^^)
thank you <3
Another reminder :D
thank you :3 s2
Yw :3
Have you played it yet today?
Good job :)
i loved playing this. it was quite calming to play and i gradually found it easier to type perseverance. keep up the amazing work! :)
that was lovely, thank you!
love it <3
Great game! I love how it gradually gets easier as you keep working at it!
Love it
I love it. I've been trying to translate psychological phenomenons into games recently and this piece does that brilliantly. Inspiring. Thanks. :)
I gotta say, this is an amazing game. I've been wanting to create games with meaning in them/moral of the story, but nothing seems to work at all. Then I found this game and became good at typing perseverance whilst understanding it. Thank you :). You made me continue on.
Hi there! I'm really happy you liked this game.
This is really cool! Is there even a end?
Glad you enjoyed it!
The game has no end. I thought it didn't really make sense given the theme.
As the description says: "Once dialogues start repeating you've seen it all"
Oh ok I didn't see that.
If you want to see them climb the stairs faster download 'Auto Hot key', and save ".ahk" file with the following script. Press "0". :)
----------------------------------------
Numpad0::
{
Send, perseverance
Send, {Enter}
Return
}
----------------------------------------
I've felt like this while making video games, until I reached a point where I couldn't keep going up anymore, I gave up. Now I'm standing on the stairs, trying to decide if it's a good idea to keep going up, or if it's better to go down. Also sometimes constancy is not enough, you need to choose the right stairs.
Just make whatever feels good to you and remember that there's no shame in stopping something if you need to.
Really nice !
I really wanted to see if this had an end, so I wrote a Python script to fast forward ^^
Also, it made me think about Turbo Media comics : https://www.catsuka.com/turbomedia/
Hah—same, but JavaScript (so it works in the browser version): https://gist.github.com/jsejcksn/c0e75bf6c772e016560757b29f7f3792
Check the comments at the top for how to use it.
I think it's amazing you both made this.
Perseverance!
awesome graphics ^^
Perseverance is such an annoying word to type which made the game a lot more thoughtful. This is such a good game- it made me feel good and motivated. It was also thoughtful and I loved the back-and-forth dialogue.
Thanks! Happy to hear you liked it :-D
wonderful, unexpected but really enjoyed this
<3
this is really great, sort of feels adjacent to getting over it but with a different mode ~
It's great! A moment stuck with me. I got really used to write 'constancia' (I played in spanish) and started writing it really fast and mechanically. At some point I stopped advancing and had to think about what was failing. One of my hands was misplaced on the keyboard and I had to take a moment to put back to it where it should be.
I don't know, it just spoke to me.
Amazing job Ludipe. I would suggest sharing it in Reddit's /r/getMotivated
Thanks! I don't have tons of experience on reddit, I tried sharing it there but it got removed right away.
it's marvellous!
Wonderful. It's like Beckett's "Waiting for Godot" meeting Camus' "The Myth of Sisyphus".
